Before donating his papers, Major Crynes' family digitized 400 35mm slide from his time in northern France during WWII. They are uniquely beautiful and I wish I could post them all, but I'll settle for a just a handful.

i just found these.. they are so amazing.. to see unknown color slides from france 1944 is brilliant. great to see them also being scanned and archived for the future !

Ian Spring, these images should be in the public domain since the family gave them to the medical museum. I think you can link to them.
