1917 Clinico Motion Pictures catalogue online

Kathleen scanned a 1917 (we think) Clinico Motion Pictures catalogue for Medical, Surgical and Dental films today and put a pdf online.

Wow! What a great variety of subjects covered. Alexis Carrel demonstrating the Carrel-Dakin-method, so crucial to wound treatment during WWI - now that's something I'd like to see.

Do you know if these movies still exist?

We have none of them. The only WW1 film we have is Red Cross Work on Mutiles (going from memory), but we're having that converted to DVD now and should be able to rip a copy and put it up on the Internet Archive. You should check with the National Library of Medicine.

Following up - we do have 2 boxes of correspondence on WW1 films - one on Fit to Fight, the anti-venereal disease film, and another on miscellaneous films used by the Army.
