Walter Reed hospital 1950s pictures on our Flickr site
Never let it be said that we don't listen to our readers - Kathleen's uploaded a bunch of 1950s Walter Reed hospital pictures in response to a comment made yesterday.
Absolutely fascinating as usual from the Walter Reed pictures, to to all the other things you all do. So sorry about Mr. Levin, and thank you for posting his obit here.
Iam trying to contact the archivist to see if he/she has any tapes made in 1953 by my husband who was in an iron lung, and broadcast a program over the Walter Reed hospital intercom. I can be reached by email at EFFSR@AOL.com He was Lt. William H. Owen, and was interning when both he and I had polio and were hospitalized at Walter Reed.
